Michael Camastro began his golf career more than 28 years ago and has participated at many different levels of the game. Michael’s notable win was 2017 Illinois PGA Senior Match play and became the 2023 Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year. His passion and desire of helping others, Michael chose the path of teaching and coaching others how to play the game and play it well.

Michael Camastro is known throughout Illinois as a top instructor with a 100% commitment developing winners.

Many of Michael student’s accomplishments include All American, Team member of NCAA Champion, State Qualifiers, and over 500 junior wins and top ten on IJGA, MAJGT and Hurricane tour.

Michael is currently working with several members of the Latin American  tour, Korn Ferry and Canadian PGA.

Founded 1998, Michael started the Players Elite Golf Academy. The Academy is geared towards developing junior players into champions.

Michael uses the latest technology at the Academy such as Digital Video, Launch Monitor, 3D Motion, Swing Catalysis Pressure Mapping and Sam Putt lab.
